World Cup 2011 will be around US$ 40 million Budget
As reported by senior officials of BCCI, the budget for Cricket World Cup 2011 could range from 40 million to 50 million US dollars.
This budget has been prepared by joint committee members from Indian, Bangladesh and Sri Lankan Cricket Boards.
Ratnakar Shetty, chief administration officer, BCCI and Tournament Director of World Cup said that this is just a approximation for budget and ICC’s Finance Committee is yet to approve this budget.
Now India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, are three hosting nations of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, as last month ICC has ditched Pakistan due to security concerns.
Pakistan Cricket Board has challenged ICC decision of its exclusion from ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 hosts.
